Prismatic Shards and Prismatic Cores
Repairing items in Schadencell relies on the use of Prismatic Shards and Prismatic Cores, tiered consumable items crafted to restore durability to damaged or broken equipment.
1. Prismatic Shards
- Function: Repairs 15% of an item's durability when applied.
- Tiers:
- The shard tier must match the item's tier (e.g., a Common Prismatic Shard is required to repair a Common Sword).
- Usage:
- Apply directly to the item for partial repair.
- Combine with Shimmering Alloys to forge a Prismatic Core for full repairs.
2. Prismatic Cores
- Function: Fully restores an item's durability when applied.
- Crafting:
- Combine multiple Prismatic Shards of the same tier with Shimmering Alloys.
- Example: To craft a Common Prismatic Core, gather several Common Prismatic Shards and a couple of Shimmering Alloys.
3. Shimmering Alloys
- Source:
- Dropped randomly from any ore in both realms.
- Found in pure ore nodes during the Cavernous Expedition in the Quest Realm.
- Purpose:
- Essential for crafting Prismatic Cores.
- Adds value to mining and exploration activities.
Example Workflow: Repairing a Common Sword
- Option 1: Partial Repair:
- Craft a Common Prismatic Shard.
- Apply the shard to repair 15% of the sword's durability.
- Option 2: Full Repair:
- Gather several Common Prismatic Shards and Shimmering Alloys.
- Use a Forging Station to craft a Common Prismatic Core.
- Apply the core for a full repair of the sword.
Strategic Tips
- Gather Resources: Collect ores frequently to obtain Shimmering Alloys and materials for crafting shards and cores.
- Plan Repairs: Use Prismatic Shards for quick, partial repairs and save Prismatic Cores for fully restoring valuable equipment.
- Tier Awareness: Ensure your shards and cores match the tier of the item you wish to repair.
